Uranium Pellets

Two uranium pellets produce enough energy to supply, for an entire month, an average four-people household.
This activity is developed at the Nuclear Fuel Factory - Pellets, with a nominal capacity of 120-tons/year.

The uranium dioxide pellets (UO2) are the synthesis of a long mineral-chemical-industrial process. To better calculate this fuel capacity, we should consider that only two of these pellets, shaped as a cylinder of approximately 1 cm long and 1 cm of diameter, generate energy to maintain an average household running for one month.

The production meets Brazil domestic demands and generates export revenues through its marketing in the foreign trade.
